My Most Memorable Book Love

My Most Memorable Book Love

I have loved books for longer that I’ve loved people. Even as a young child, I considered my books my friends. The fun friends that didn’t have a babysitter or a curfew and could go on epic adventures any time they wished. Although I had many book loves through the years and an attachments to their fables and tales, there is one book that had resonated with me so much that I feel its presence in my core to this day. A true book love of sorts.

For me, that love lies with Keith Miller’s Book of Flying, a fantastical adventure that follows a wingless librarian to find the winged girl he loves. In fact, I loved this book so much that I named my pet rabbit Pico, after the librarian himself.
