Not sure about you guys but sometimes I just have a craving to stay in my pyjamas all day, eat nothing but junk food and watch ten hours of TV until my eyes can’t focus. If it wasn’t for Netflix, I might actually see daylight on the weekends! But who needs that when you have so many options of mind-blowing, binge-worthy shows at your fingertips? I sure don’t!
While this list is an ongoing collection, I thought it might be a good idea to share some of recent TV show obsessions. If you’re looking for something new to take your mind off life, the below are amazing!
Stranger Things. No shock there, this supernatural drama has had my heart since it first dropped. With three seasons out, it’s easy to get sucked into the story. The characters are fantastic and the storyline will keep you drooling for more.
Fear the Walking Dead. If you liked the Walking Dead, this is a no-brainer. I was skeptical about the spin off at first but am now fully addicted. Full of surprises and gruesome twists, I can zombie out on this show for a full week straight. Get it? See what I did there?
Man in the High Castle. If yo have Amazon Prime Video, you need to get on this! I read the Philip K. Dick book in college and it was one of the first novels to spark my interest in creative writing. When I saw that Prime released the show, my curiosity sparked and I was not disappointed. If you’re a fan of alternate histories, this one is right up your alley.
Yummy Mummies. That’s right, I’m a reality TV junkie and I’m not ashamed of it! This Melbourne-based show is hilarious if you’re a fan of no filter moms with a cute accent. Along the lines of Real Housewives but with less yelling and more babies.
Instant Hotel. Another reality show that has recently grabbed my attention, enough so that I watched both seasons in one weekend. A good spin on design TV, this show is set in Australia and follows a competition for best instant hotel in the country.
